Historic William Woods University Chooses Xirrus 802.11n Wi-Fi

Students at William Woods University Replace Wires with Wireless Thanks to Xirrus High Performance Wi-Fi Arrays

Established in 1870, William Woods offers its more than 3,000 students an assortment of degrees and programs, including American Sign Language.

In describing their selection process for Wi-Fi, Steven Goodson, the network Administrator for William Woods University's Fulton campus, said, "We brought in six different vendors to do a bake-off with them - to see the pros and cons with them. We narrowed it down to three vendors. We had HP come in, Aruba come in, and Xirrus come in. I was kind of amazed when Xirrus came in -- when looking at coverage, ease of configuration, and especially the customer service, Xirrus just shinned above the other vendors, they really did."
