Offering a wide range of services, the Trust delivered 8,000 babies, operated on 11,000 women, performed 900 IVF procedures for infertile couples and carried out more than 1,000 procedures in breast surgery in 2004 and 2005 alone. To better service their patients, the hospital embarked on taking their Patient Information and Electronic Prescription Applications to the bedside via a wireless network.
