Staff Accountant

Job Description:

The Staff Accountant performs a wide variety of general accounting and reporting responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining, reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts; processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions; preparing ad-hoc reporting and analyses and journal entries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with three or more years experience in accounting
  • Must demonstrate the flexibility to work in a fast paced, high-growth technology company and be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as enterprise accounting software (Expandable helpful)
  • Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage workload
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus

Sr. Hardware Engineer

Job Description:

This hardware engineering position reports to our Director of Hardware Engineering and is responsible for all types of digital hardware development, testing, DFM and agency certification. Design responsibilities include development of digital platforms that include everything from microcontrollers to PowerPC processors. Basic network hardware design is a requirement. Analog development skills are not required but these skills are a definite plus in the area of power supply circuitry design.

Responsibilities include:

  • Will participate as an active hardware development team engineer, responsible for all facets of digital platform development including product architecture, design, development, troubleshooting, DFM and release to Mfg
  • Must be a self starter and able to lead a project from start to finish
  • Candidate must have experience with Agency test and certification, domestic and international, FCC and UL
  • Responsible for schematic capture and BOM creation

Requirements:

  • Must have experience designing PowerPC or similar processor platforms inclusive of memory & high speed bus design and layou

Embedded Software Development Engineer

Job Description:

The Embedded Software Development Engineer is responsible for the development Xirrus XS Array product software for all Xirrus WIFI platforms. The Engineer should have a wide range of experience and related knowledge in areas that encompass Enterprise switching and routing features, functions and operating systems. Experience would include development for both wired and wireless products. Should have extensive knowledge and experience with programming in the Linux O/S environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Will participate as an active software development engineer in the XS software team
  • Responsible for defining the implementation of features on the Xirrus Array OS
  • Will participate in R&D of WIFI standards to support specific features on the Xirrus Array

Requirements:

  • Will have a extensive knowledge of: Embedded Linux,, Ethernet protocols, Wireless protocols including Data and VoIP, wired & wireless security protocols, Enterprise class switching and routing protocols, VPN, RADIUS, DHCP, Firewalls, switching fabric design
  • Minimum of 5 years experience programming/development for enterprise class switching and routing equipment and/or WIFI Access Point product software development
  • Minimum of 15 years of years of software development experience in embedded systems design and implementation

Education:

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; masters’ degree preferred


Senior NMS/GUI SQA Engineer

Responsibilities include:

  • To design, develop, execute and automate test cases for our XMS product
  • Write and execute detailed test plans, proactively work with development
  • Track defects from discovery through resolution
  • Individuals must work well in a team environment, be highly motivated, and willing to learn new skills
  • Experience in a fast paced startup environment is highly desired
  • Participate in problem resolutions and contribute to the quality assurance and stability of the overall systems

Requirements:

  • Must have a strong background in NMS and GUI Testing with automation experiencE
  • Proficient in TCL and Perl scripting languageS
  • Knowledge of GUI Automation with tools such as HP QTP, WinRunner etc.
  • Database knowledge is required
  • Understanding of SNMP - v1, v2 and v3, MIBs, MIB browsers
  • Understanding of applications such as MIMIC
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, 802.11abgn and related networking protocols
  • The candidate must have a clear understanding of testing process and methodologies
  • Experience in defining test requirements, test methodologies and setting up the required test lab and equipment.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Experience testing in Linux and Windows environments.

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an SQA Engineer.


Senior SQA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design automation scripts for the Xirrus-WiFi-Array family of products
  • Develop and design automation scripts for test tools such as IxChariot, IxWLAN and Wavetest 90
  • Proactively interface with development and SQA for scripting requirements
  • Individuals must work well in a team environment, be highly motivated, and willing to learn new skills
  • Experience in a fast paced startup environment is highly desired
  • Participate in problem resolutions and contribute to the quality assurance and stability of the systems

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and 802.11 related protocols
  • Experience with automation test tools such as TCL, Perl and HP-QTP
  • Experience with Web Management Interfaces
  • Strong testing and debugging experience is required
  • Experience with 802.11i and 802.1x is desirable
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Experience with Linux and Windows based applications

Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer

Job Description:

Responsible for development of functional and system test of new product including all hardware and software in the manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios
  • Develop Diagnostics & Debug Trees @ Card Level & System Level
  • Development and maintenance of automated functional and system test scripts
  • Develop and document Test Process/ Test Procedures
  • Production Support in Execution of manual tests of applications, tools, and infrastructure
  • Drive Yield Improvement projects w/ Root Cause Identification and correction
  • Participate in New Product Development activities and provide Testability feedback
  • Smooth Transfer of all test capital and processes to outside suppliers
  • Direct, review, and approve the detailed product design for manufacturability
  • Develop Launch Plans Gates & Checklist
  • Extended experience w/ ATE and automation projects including ORT  

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of Test experience, proficient in Digital and RF Testing 
  • Excellent oral and written skills with willingness to work in a high-powered, team environment
  • Strong Hardware & Software background (at System, Card & Comp.)
  • Familiarity w/ 802.11 wireless testing
  • Familiarity w/ SQL data base (i.e. SCSI & Fiber Channel)

Regional Manager - Sales

Job Description:

The Territory Manager is the front line sales professional at Xirrus. He / she are assigned a sales territory and are responsible for all Xirrus business activities in their assigned territory.
