Field Sales and Marketing Specialist
Job Description:
As a Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to visit and build business relationships with IT professionals identified by the Marketing/Sales team on a regular basis. You will also distribute promotional materials for maximum impact. You do not need to be technical; you just need to maintain a current and competent level of knowledge of the company's high-level overview.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, focus on the prospect, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
- Execute an effective call/visit plan provided by Xirrus
- Utilize reporting tools provided to achieve territorial goals
- Update client database on a daily basis and make accessible to Territory Manager and Marketing Director
- Follow up with clients by email/phone - Communicate and collaborate with Territory Managers and Marketing Director on goals, ideas and challenges
- Visit and build business relationships with assigned prospects
- Taking the opportunity to prospect for new business; walk-in delivery of brochure, acquisition or update proper contact information for Wi-Fi IT party (business card or phone number/name/email as provided by receptionist or other party within organization)
- Utilize your customer focused selling skills; learn and communicate high level company overview
- Attain answers to three qualifying questions specified by Territory Manger
- Obtain leads and coordinate with the Territory Manager to progress the relationship towards a sale
- Assist the Marketing Director and Territory Manager in any additional projects (i.e. attend seminars, tradeshows or other events to staff booth and network.)
- Remain in compliance with Drivers Safety Guidelines, and your personal automobile insurance coverage requirement
Requirements:
- Must have demonstrated ability to promote goods, be assertive and persuasive
- Demonstrated effective organizational and communication skills required, as well as the ability to work as directed
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
- Must have own transportation with proper insurance and cell phone
- Experience in Microsoft Excel recommended but not required
Education:
- 2 or 4 year degree or 5-7 years of work or military experience
Staff Accountant
Job Description:
The Staff Accountant performs a wide variety of general accounting and reporting responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining, reconciling and analyzing general ledger accounts; processing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions; preparing ad-hoc reporting and analyses and journal entries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with three or more years experience in accounting
- Must demonstrate the flexibility to work in a fast paced, high-growth technology company and be able to handle multiple tasks
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as enterprise accounting software (Expandable helpful)
- Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage workload
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Must be able to work standard business hours with flexibility to work extended hours to meet workload requirements and project-related deadlines

Embedded Software Development Engineer
Job Description:
The Embedded Software Development Engineer is responsible for the development Xirrus XS Array product software for all Xirrus WIFI platforms. The Engineer should have a wide range of experience and related knowledge in areas that encompass Enterprise switching and routing features, functions and operating systems. Experience would include development for both wired and wireless products. Should have extensive knowledge and experience with programming in the Linux O/S environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Will participate as an active software development engineer in the XS software team
- Responsible for defining the implementation of features on the Xirrus Array OS
- Will participate in R&D of WIFI standards to support specific features on the Xirrus Array
Requirements:
- Will have a extensive knowledge of: Embedded Linux,, Ethernet protocols, Wireless protocols including Data and VoIP, wired & wireless security protocols, Enterprise class switching and routing protocols, VPN, RADIUS, DHCP, Firewalls, switching fabric design
- Minimum of 5 years experience programming/development for enterprise class switching and routing equipment and/or WIFI Access Point product software development
- Minimum of 15 years of years of software development experience in embedded systems design and implementation
Education:
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent; masters’ degree preferred
Territory Manager - Sales
Job Description:
The Territory Manager is the front line sales professional at Xirrus. He / she are assigned a sales territory and are responsible for all Xirrus business activities in their assigned territory.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and closing direct sales opportunities
- Recruiting and developing regional partners
- Training and supporting OEM partners
- Demonstrating Xirrus products
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of networking
- Strong work ethic and prospecting skills
- Strong overall communication skills
- 3 or more years of sales experience
- BS/BA degree preferred
Sr. Manufacturing Test Engineer
Job Description:
Responsible for development of functional and system test of new product including all hardware and software in the manufacturing.
Function:
- Develop and maintain automated test plans, test cases, test data, test scenarios
- Develop Diagnostics & Debug Trees @ Card Level & System Level
- Development and maintenance of automated functional and system test scripts
- Develop and document Test Process/ Test Procedures
- Production Support in Execution of manual tests of applications, tools, and infrastructure
- Drive Yield Improvement projects w/ Root Cause Identification and correction
- Participate in New Product Development activities and provide Testability feedback
- Smooth Transfer of all test capital and processes to outside suppliers
- Direct, review, and approve the detailed product design for manufacturability
- Develop Launch Plans Gates & Checklist
- Extended experience w/ ATE and automation projects including ORT
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Test experience, proficient in Digital and RF Testing
- Excellent oral and written skills with willingness to work in a high-powered, team environment
- Strong Hardware & Software background (at System, Card & Comp.)
- Familiarity w/ 802.11 wireless testing
- Familiarity w/ SQL data base (i.e. SCSI & Fiber Channel)
- Familiarity w/ Security environment. Hardware & Software
- Familiarity w/ both Linux & MS windows environment
- Perl/Bash programming or scripting a plus
Education:
- Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent
Senior Technologist
Location:
- Western USA or Central USA
Function:
- The Senior Technologist will be assigned to a region and will act as a field expert in Wi-Fi technology and Xirrus products supporting various sales and marketing efforts
- Provide general knowledge of Wi-Fi networking and security protocols
- Provide general knowledge of Enterprise networking and security protocols
- Deliver practical experience with Enterprise Switching, Routing, VPN, and Firewall technology
- Provide general knowledge of IP Voice and Video technology
- Support public speaking events - small to medium sized audiences
- Ability to think on your feet and field and answer highly technical questions
Requirements:
- Requires minimum of 5 years experience in the design and operation of Enterprise IP networks
- Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in the design and operation of Enterprise Wi-Fi networks
- Requires a minimum of 1 years of public speaking experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Vendor certifications are highly desirable
