The American School of Warsaw Goes State-of-the-Art with Xirrus Wireless Networking


The American School of Warsaw was founded in 1953 and accredited in 1987 by the European Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Located in Konstancin on the outskirts of Warsaw, ASW opened its doors to a new multi-school complex in 2001 which include 10 hectares of land, 56 classrooms, including an early childhood wing. There are also three state-of-the-art computer labs, seven updated science labs, three music rooms including sound and recording studios, five art rooms, a library, two full-sized gymnasiums, a full-service cafeteria, a theater-quality auditorium and a indoor swimming pool. All classrooms have wireless access. ASW has more than 900 students, representing over 49 Nations and nearly 120 faculty members. The college preparatory curriculum is embedded in the U.S. ideals of democratic values, analytical thinking, respect, and appreciation for others and promotes the development of responsible world citizenship.
