Israel's Eilat Airport Relies on Xirrus for High Performance Wi-Fi

The Eilat Airport was established by the Israeli Air Force in 1949, at the end of the War of Independence. Over the years, the airport has expanded, with the addition of a passenger terminal and the runway extended to 1,900 meters. In 1975, the first charter flight, by Sterling Airways of Denmark, landed in Eilat, and since then international charter flights have been landing regularly at the Airport. Eilat Airport today serves internal civilian, international charter, private, and special flights.
